From the arch in Washington Square to the Hudson, by way of Stonewall, Abingdon Square and a hotel built for sailors. Architecture, history and a few great spots along the way.

Rafaël’s walk from Washington Square to the Hudson. It starts where every Village walk starts — under the arch — and ends with a rooftop view of the river from a pier that used to handle coffee and war supplies.
