Escapade for Campuses & universities
The campus tour that never sleeps.
Self-guided admissions tours for prospective students and their parents, plus orientation and alumni walks — available on weekends, evenings and every week your tour guides are on break.
The problem
Families visit when your tour guides can't
Prospective students arrive on Saturdays, during spring break and after a long drive that ran late. Student-led tours are great when they happen, but they only happen on a schedule.
- Visitors who miss the tour wander the quad with a PDF map.
- Guides cover the same ground every time, in one language.
- Orientation, alumni weekends and heritage walks each need their own plan.
How it works
Three steps
- 1
We write the route with you
Admissions, communications and your student guides tell us what matters. We turn it into stops, stories and a route.
- 2
Visitors start whenever they arrive
A QR code at the visitor center or in the confirmation email opens the tour. No booking, no waiting for the next group.
- 3
Each stop tells its story
Narration plays as visitors reach each building, in your students' voices or ours.

What's already running
-
GPS-triggered audio
Stories start on arrival at each stop, so visitors look at buildings, not screens.
-
Creator-narrated and AI tours
Escapade already runs both, side by side, in the app.
-
Works off-hours by design
Nothing about a self-guided tour needs a staff member to be on shift.
FAQ
Campuses: common questions
Can our student tour guides narrate it?
Yes. We can record your guides, or produce narration from the script you already use.
Does it replace in-person tours?
It covers the hours and the visitors in-person tours can't. Most schools will want both.
Which languages?
English and French today. Tell us what your applicant pool needs.
Can we see who took the tour?
You see how many visitors started and finished each tour and which stops they listened to, in a monthly report. You won't see who they are — visitors' personal data stays private.
